Wanted an extended weekender bag that could handle a few days without having to lug around a suitcase but was a bit more roomy than my go-to Adidas backpack. Took a gamble with this and I’m glad I did! Wow! The bag is nice enough but the extras of the satin-y shoe bag, small zipper bag and roomy packing cube were a perfect packing dream match for this and it might be me but these 3 matching everything makes me feel a bit more chic and organized. We have a 4day trip to Chicago coming up and I put it to the test. After packing it, I still had room to go so I also emptied my flight bag into this as well, now I only have this bag that will still fit under airline seats (and Tulsa gets the tiny tight planes too). I still have unused space in the back area where it’s got laptop space and more pockets! So one bag, even got more room to tuck in a wristlet! I did the neutral tone bag. Inside is a tasteful taupe pinstripe, as shown has the elastic travel buckles to keep your packed items steady, inner lid has roomy mesh zipper area and wet bag zipper area. Outside has a top padded handle, side drink pocket, big padded side handle, front had a zipper slip pocket that is 3/4 of the front of the bag with a smaller front flap is magnetic with snaps and reveals a roomy pocket area that has two spacious slip pockets (larger than most phone pockets) - here I have my phone, sunglasses hard shell case, small zipper bag with my chargers and AirPods (there’s still space for more)…. The first zipper area opens to your suitcase (and has 4 buckles on the sides for securing and cinching your bag if you want to condense it), the second zipper area is a large space with a padded area for a laptop on the straps side (fit my MacBook 16”), a slip pocket area on the front of that (fit my mouse and touchscreen pen), the bag side has a large slip pocket and 3 tight elastic slip pockets. I didn’t have much more to add so this area was left mostly empty other than a place to tuck my travel blanket for easy reach. There is a secure “hidden” zipper pocket on the back of the bag for easy access to your passport or wallet and what not. To give you an idea of the suitcase inside space, here’s what’s in my bag (size 12/XL so no teensy XS things either): inside the suitcase portion: shoe bag has sandals (I could’ve fit like 2-3 more pairs), small zipper bag has 3 pj sets, undies (and plenty more space), added my small makeup case and my my large toiletries case packed full with hair tools and extras, my jewelry travel round, light jacket, mesh top storage cube has 3 jeans, 4 tops (& room to go), lid zipper portions has 3 bras (& more room), sunscreen stick and both travel pharmacy medication cubes of mine (and so much more space to pack more!)The bag gets heavy packed full but the shoulder straps are well padded as is the back of the bag so it’s not uncomfortable. Plus there’s and elastic luggage strap to fit over a roller bag’s handle (I’m totally taking this for extra space on our cruise). I also like the sturdy padded side handle to make maneuvering it easier. The only way to improve this would be to add a buckle to the shoulder straps with a place to hide them, a set of wheels to the bottom and an extension handle on the top! Seriously that’s all I could possibly dream up to improve it! But as it is, it feels well made and is extremely smartly designed to maximize every bit of space! So if you have tab after tab of travel bags opened and studying the inches to Liters storage, this is probably going to be the best out there.
