THIS IS UNBELIEVEABLE! I normally do not give an opinion on a product the very same day it arrives, as I like to use/wear it awhile first, before I decide if I like the product or not. However, I was so overjoyed with what Amazon delivered today, that I could not wait. I am a short person, 5'0" short, who has searched my entire adult life for jeans that fit properly. One year, many years ago, before school started, we, as we had done for years, went to the only store (a small family owned store) that carried the uniforms required by the parochial schools in our metro area. As the sales/ fitting lady helped our 3 daughters, I asked her if I could try on some jeans. She was kept busy, helping my girls "fit" their uniforms and mark them at the right places, where the seamstress would take them in. I wasn't aware that everytime I came out of the dressing room and looked into the 3 way mirror, that she was watching me. When I had tried on every jean they had out for sale, as was usual, ALL of them were way too long by than 6 inches or more. Running into a dead end, so to speak, as I usually did with jeans, I put them back where I had found them and hung them up. I returned to see how my daughters fittings were going. She looked like she had something to say, but was hesitating. When she spoke she said," I don't mean to be a busybody, but I noticed that the jeans we have for sale were all way too long for you. May I make a suggestion for you to try"? I told her she should tell me what she wanted to say. She informed me that the size jean I needed in a junior sizing, would ALL be way too long, unless I was lucky enough (at the time) to find someone who carried Petites. I asked off hand, if she knew of anyone who carried them at the time. She told me no, but that she thought I would get a perfect fit, and here she inserted,"I hope I don't offend you by saying this, but I think a girls size 14 would be perfect for you". She pointed the way. Having nothing to lose, I tried her suggestion. It was as though I had found custom fitted jeans! I chose a few pair, and from then on, I always went to the girls department when I needed any sort of pant. This past year, my jeans looked like they had seen their day. As I wanted to try some in the beautiful colors they now make, I looked at 2 of the better known, name brand jeans that were out there. I found almost NOTHING, in the size I needed, but even if it wasn't a color I would normally have chosen, I purchased the few I found offered and in stock, who claimed to fit according to the chart, between a 2 Petite and a 4 Petite. When they came, many were still way too long and the rest that were that was the right length, then the hips and waist were way too big. But beggars can't be choosers so they say, and I kept the ones that fit best lengthwise. The more I thought about it, after washing and wearing the 6 or so pair I had kept, I had kept, I recalled seeing a picture of Amazons jeans for petite women, on one of the pages where I had ordered the jeans I now had. I decided to give them a try. I purchased 2 pair, as that would give me more jeans than I needed, but a little bit of summery color. They came today. These are THE BEST jeans, fit wise, fabric wise and color wise, I have ever owned in my 64 years. I am NOT joking when I say that, for the first time ever, I was elated! I now have 2 pair of jeans that look and fit as though custom made. I only wish I hadn't washed and worn the name brand jeans that are ill fitting. The quality really surprised me, as the fabric was soft, supple and the jeans are very well constructed. Length is perfect. And, they are perfectly fitted to my hips and waist, not needing a belt. The next time I need or decide to buy jeans again, I am going straight to Amazon's page and place my order. And so many color choices for me! For the very first time, I have a choice of EVERY color they make, in all the larger sizes of the name brand jeans, but rarely, if ever in my size or length. I am in heaven! For a woman my age who has put up with either a poor color choice because the store does not buy large quantities of the 2 smallest sizes, and they go fast IF they carry them at all, or having to choose jeans that are too big in the hips and/or waist, I now have two VERY well made, VERY lovely looking pairs of jeans, that no one would ever know they aren't one of the name brands. Thank you Amazon! I have waited my entire life, to find pretty colored, well fitting, well made jeans that up until now, I had to compromise on something, to wear. These jeans are perfect! A perfect fit. Perfect colors and sturdy construction. I will forget about those name brand jeans, (and their price) and head straight to Amazons jeans page. I KNOW I won't be disappointed. You made my year!I really like the look and feel of the material. Good quality. Absolutely buy a size up. I am 5’6 135lbs, usually a size 6. I ordered a size 8 in these based on the reviews and they are still a little snug at the button. Keeping them because they fit and look good but hoping they relax a bit for more comfort. White is not see through.Comfortable and nice causal jeans. Daily wear. Sits well on my stomach, doesn’t put pressure on any body part, like thighs, hips or stomach. For five stars I’d like 1-2 inches shorter.I am 5' 5" and 120 lbs. I ordered an 8 expecting them to be a little too big because I'm trying to put on a few pounds. They are skin tight. I'm a little surprised at some of the reviews that say they're true to size. They are not. They are really made well and not thin as another reviewer seemed to think.I’m 5’9, and ordered 14L. Usually with 14L, jeans always go a little below my ankle, but this time, they were about an inch above the ankle. No biggie with today’s styles, but still….Because they are more jeggings than jeans, I guess the length is what everyone else likes. I thought they were jeans when I ordered them.Headline says it all in one line, but I'll go into more detail. I purchased these on Prime Day with a promotional price of about 33% off the listed price. I've had to shop for jeans because I've finally (after nearly 4 years) shed all of the baby weight from my second child. But, while I'm back to my old size, my body shape has changed a bit. I used to be fine with wearing anything low-rise, but not anymore -- mid-rise or high-rise only. When I saw that these were high rise and skinny, I decided I should try a pair. Husband said to get 2, and for once I listened (and I'm so glad I did!).Material: Great material. Thick and textured enough so that panty lines don't show, and when they stretch they feel like they will bounce back. Been wearing the pink pair for the last few hours, and the knees don't bag when I stand up. Basically, they seem to keep their shape. However, the pale pink threatens to show really dark underwear worn beneath, so head's up on that.Rise: These are a true high-waisted jean. I have a long torso, and these come up to just below my navel. This is important because, unlike many of the other high-rise and mid-rise pants I've owned, they come up above my pelvic bone. I don't think I've ever had a jean do that, but the fact that there's no fabric or pressure on my hips is SUCH. A. RELIEF. I won't be rushing to get these off at the end of the day.Inseam: I purchased the regular length, which is a 29" inseam. These reach my ankles, and are a comfortable length for the end of summer and going into fall. I'd be interested in grabbing them in a long length (31" inseam) for winter if they go on sale again. For reference, I am 5' 6.5", with a long torso and probably "regular" length legs.Pockets/pocket placement: I read one review which stated that the pockets were a little "momsy" due to their size and placement. I am a mom; however, there is nothing unflattering (for me, anyway) about the size or placement of the rear patch pockets. For me, they are the right size, they hold my large smartphone comfortably, and they rest in a kind of "centered" position on my rear. I don't know if the pockets scale up with larger sizes though. The front pockets feel a tad shallow to me, but I think that's more because they start higher up on the waist than I'm used to. Lip balm fits well and hasn't eked its way out while sitting with my knees folded up.Fit in the back: I've always had issues with gapping in the back of my jeans when I move around. I guess that means I'm curvy, but regardless of what shape I am, it's obnoxious to have to pull my shirt down if I have to reach down for something. In these, I was able to bend over (as if to pick up something I'd dropped) and squat down without showing my underwear or my crack. This is a new one for me, especially without a belt.Comparisons: I have two kids, so I'm cheap AF. My other go-to jeans after kids have been from the following brands: Uniqlo (my favorite until now, congrats Amazon), William Rast (cheap pair from Costco, also a favorite until now), Kut from the Kloth (splurge from Nordstrom, liked these OK), Caslon (also from Nordstrom, I like them better than KftK, and hear they're now manufactured by Madewell), CJ by Cookie Johnson (rise is too low for me but liked everything else about them). I've also bought the Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda Jean from Costco, and can only say to run far, FAR away from those. They were a mistake, and are the most "mom-jean" jeans I've ever owned. Gave them away after wearing them to the store like twice.I usually wear a size 4-6 in jeans and so I ordered a 6. They were way too small! Order at least one size up.No cuff ad advertisementI was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these. They’re comfortable and flattering. One note is that you can definitely see panty lines, so a thong is a must if you want to avoid that. The legs are a little long, but not overly so.Lovely jeans. Nice colour. I am 5ft 3 and the regular are a great length I don't have to fold them up. Very comfortable and I don't find myself pulling these up every 5 minutes as with some jeans.I'm 5'1". I purchased a size 8. They fit like a dream and wash really well. What I will say is you will need to own a lint roller for these as the pick up everything!Perfect! I hate buying jeans im a size 16 so getting a good fit is extremely hard they are always too big or too small so i wasnt expecting much when i ordered these but so pleasantly surprised at both size and comfortThese are a great length for taller ladies . The colour is a pale khaki green\brown.I wanted them to be right and hold me in. These don't get 5 stars because they loosen and wrinkle quite quickly.
