Book arrived earlier than I expected and has only slight cosmetic damage, e.g., front or back cover slightly bent, minimal highlighting. For a little cosmetic damage, that I would likely have caused myself while using this book, I saved lots of $$$. Would buy again with no hesitation.I have been getting this book from the library for many months and finally was told that Icould buy it. The book was just like the soft-covered one from the library. However, Iwas expecting a CD in it which I did not find. It's o.k. I am still glad that I got it at a greatprice. Thank you.Bought this for an ortho- bionomy class. Was a very readable text. Can better answer once I start the class. Pictures are very good.This is an excellent source for a basic understanding of Anatomy and Physiology. Just note that any such class requires a lot of memorization. There are a lot of terms, and names for things to remember. This book makes it more interesting my adding stories and relating the information to real life or job situations. It helps to put things into perspective. The images are not always clear, but, when used with the workbook designed for the course, everything comes clear.I was not particularly pleased with the CD's that came with the book, but they do contain all the images from the book as an aid to studying.I'm pretty indifferent about this book...I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it. I used this for an anatomy class that I was taking in school. I thought the book was great content wise, but I had a really bad teacher who was not good at explaining the content, which made a lot of the book hard to understand. It's a pretty easy read book, but also a book that would be very helpful and easy to understand if you had someone with background knowledge in anatomy and physiology to help guide you through it.The book came reasonably quickly. I would mention that it didn't come with the CD that usually accompanies the book when you purchase it new... but I got it used, for a great price, so I wasn't really expecting the CD. There was only minimal underlining/highlighting/marginal notes, not at all a problem. The book is well written, has easy to read diagrams, and explains Human anatomy in a nice overview that isn't too indepth nor does it gloss over everything. Overall, I was very happy with the service from the seller, and from the book itself.A used copy. In good enough condition. Had writing in the book and was worn. Life is mostly easy to understand.I am a single mom and was searching online for a book for my anatomy class, and found it for much much less than it cost new at the school I attend. It came very quickly, it was used, so there were markings on it, and highlighting. But, as far as used books go, it is in good enough condition for me to use. The thing that I was happiest about was the price and the quick shipping.Very useful book, especially for anybody starting to study any medical profession. Much better than any A Level book. Certainly more helpful and easier to understand than my original text was.i like the book most.its a good biology book....it contains lot of information that i need to know...no vaouge description,either.
